Friends Friends Friends

Overview

Friends Friends Friends, directed by Owen Tozer, offers an intimate portrait of graphic artist Anthony Burrill, capturing a day in his creative life. The short film follows Burrill through his studio, and daily routines, revealing the quiet rhythms and thoughtful processes behind his distinctive work.

Blending observation with a warm, understated visual style, the film celebrates creativity, collaboration, and the importance of human connection. Rather than simply documenting an artist at work, Friends Friends Friends provides an engaging glimpse into the everyday moments that shape Burrill’s graphic practice.

Overview

Anthony Burrill joined forces with traditional sign writer Alex Rayment on a collaboration that unites bold contemporary design with the heritage of hand lettering. Together they created a pair of unique, hand-painted skateboard decks emblazoned with the words “QUESTION” and “ANSWER.”
